if thats the future, then im glad i got my '08. the fender vents are a tragedy and im guessing its on a unibody.

the rear end does look like a Mazda 3. definitely not the embodiment of the rugged, ready to do anything Pathy that i have come to love.

:(

saw those pics of new patrol few months ago. That is a pitty that they did what toyota did with their Land Cruisers. They turned them into large crossovers for moms to take their kids to school and go for groceries. I love the look of the current Y61 Patrol. I hope they ar enot going to turn pathfinder into something toyotish like they did with patrol. :( Patrol is mean off road machine and they should have kept that. as to Pathfinder I just hope they will also stick to the same design as they did with R51. I got for looks and power. Id they screw the next one up I will be totally dissappointed of nissan.

Oh, look, how cute! A cube went out on Halloween dressed like a Range Rover. Awwwwwww.

At least the XTerra has had some sort of external updates. The sides and rear look the same since it's inception, but the grille has definitely been redesigned several times.

That still pisses me off. The Patrol is a very capable vehicle everywhere else. Why do the mfrs. have to turn everything into a car before it gets released in the US? Everything gets toned down, cheapened cosmetically & totally wussified.

But, does it still have a SRA? That would be quite a change for the R51 folks, but seems a step backwards from the current trend that manuf. seemed to taking.
