knocking on wood, I have not had any issues with this. I also have the maint history from the previous owner, and it seems it was not done while he owned it either.KEVSTER wrote:So is there anyone in here who has not had fuel sending unit problems at all with there pathfinder.? or are most owners doomed to this failure. I just can't get beyond Nissan has not addressed this failure issue.
lol, too funny. I did have a problem with my left rear door window, turned out to be the main 4 window controller needed to be replaced.dbetterred wrote:for example: "I haven't had any issues with my left rear door window" this is not something you normally see posted as it would make a pretty boring forum
I have no clue. I never get to see the part after they stealer replaces it, and like i said its been done a couple times so far.dryart wrote:so far, so good on both R51s.
i wonder if this may be a regional issue, involving fuel formulations that may be causing deterioration of these components.
or, perhaps frequent low fuel levels in the tank may be causing mechanical damage to the part, due to increased vibration.
does anyone have any input on what is actually wrong with the failed components?
resistance changes?
insulation deterioration?
damage or wear between moving parts resulting in binding or sticking?
