Thursday I was on my way home from work and made a quick stop to visit some friends. When I was leaving, my Pfinder died while I backing out of a parking space. When I tried to restart, it would barely run and the check engine light was flashing continually. Felt like it was running on two cylinders, or starving for fuel, and didnt have the power to back up into another parking spot.
Fortunately I was only about a 1/2 mile from home and my girlfriend came to get me. First thing I did was get on this message board to see if I could find anyone with common situations. I came up with the two following topics...

Turns out that some Pfinders and Titans share the same problem with the IPDM/ER module. The IPDM is a fuse/relay box that is under the hood.
I successfully fixed it myself in about 20 minutes. The part was more painful than the process with a retail price of about $205, from the dealer. I am in the "car parts" business and was able to get it from my local dealer for about $145.
Here is a very helpful link on a Titan message board, that tells how to replace it. Nissanpath member, djbit posted the link under one of the above topics.

Thanks to all those here who continue to share their good and bad experiences with their R51's!
