Voltage Regulator Location?

Anything automotive in nature, be it Nissan or one of those "other" manufacturers.

Where is the Voltage Regulator located on an 88 Pathfinder?

If i remember correctly, it's part of the alternator, i would ask at parts store, but i think this is correct, sorry to lazy to check chiltons manual, or haynes :P

as a note, thats the best 20.00 you can spend on your pathy

It's listed as separate on an 88 on a parts website I just checked. Back then it may have still been separate. Definitely get a manual (haynes or chiltons).

The voltage regulator is internal, or located inside the Alternator; on the 3.0 Litre engine.
