Hello from Wisconsin! We just purchased a 2007 Pathfinder SE 4x4 to replace the aging 99 Grand Cherokee.

This is the fourth Pathfinder I've owned- I had an 87', then 89', then 88'.
I also had four pick-ups- 81' (Datsun)720 2wd, 83' 720 2wd, 86' 1/2 4x4, and a 88' 4x4.
Also an 84' (Datsun-Nissan) Pulsar NX and a 93' Altima.

I came here to look for answers to a rust issue on the 07's tailgate at the chrome piece above the license plate.

Well crud. It looks like the license plate rust issue was a 2005 problem. So, why is my 07 having the same issue?
