Need Rear Fan Speed Knob

Need Rear Fan Speed Knob

I just bought a 2005 Pathfinder LE and the front control for the rear fan speed is broken.

It's the one that allows the rear to control the speed or to specify it (0 R 1 2 3 4). The dealership that I bought it from has been attempting to get me a replacement, but the first one that came was only the grey outer shell of the knob, and did not have any of the "guts", which is the part I need- the part that slips over the post sticking out of the dash is broken so the knob just spins. They hypothesize that someone had opened the knob and taken part of it before shipping it to the dealer, but I'm a skeptic. It almost seems like you can't get the part from Nissan?

If anyone has a matching knob I'll take it!
