Wheel size and tires

Postby ottawajoe » Mon Oct 04, 2010 6:35 am

I've looked at all the other postings. I just want to make sure i'm getting the right stuff.
wheels: MB Stryker wheels 18x8.5 +10 offset
tires: Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 275/65/r18

You're input would be great.

I want to make sure the tires will fit and the offset is right. It looks like the spacing on the back of the rim will be the same, but the tire/rim will stick out about 1 1/2".

I'm thinking the tires/wheels will stick out too much. How many mm less can you go on the offset to tuck those wheels in?

I'm actually looking at a different wheel now. The offset is +25. The wheel would be 1/2" further in and stick out an inch.

Compared to stock? I'd guess you would have major rubbing on the frame in turns, if that's what you meant.

There seems to be alot of information on tire sizes but not wheel offset.
