Postby cannonball » Tue Feb 08, 2011 7:11 pm

anyone going to gone moab? I'm thinking about driving out from VA. (as a part of a larger cross country trip with my wife)

and has anyone gone, and if so do you think it would be worth the drive?

I've wanted to go for years. I hope to make it there one day hopefully before they close it down to off-roading.

Looks like a whole lot of fun. Too bad I'm in another desert at the moment and can't play in Moab.

I've got car repairs I'm workin on (VW Passat with a busted timing belt) over the weekends or I would be tempted. If you go, try to do Shaffer Trail. It's fairly easy and you get some good pics of some decent rock art along Potash Road.
