Why not just replace with Xenon HID conversions?

I got them on Ebay for 53 bucks complete, installed them in about 10 minutes and love them.

Because you're still stuck with the factory (crappy) optics and low cut-offs. Brighter light perhaps but not better coverage and the high beam will be no change whatsoever. High beam is where the PF headlights really suck.

I like the HID package I installed but you are correct in posting the High Beam is a regular light.

Those look good, but I bet they only work for the 05-07 models.
