Has anyone installed a class III receiver hitch onto the front of a Pathfinder?

hitches

i know this has been years and apology for this. but are you recently purchased hitches from a dealer? On the Nissan accessories website they say it comes with the four pin harness. When I asked the parts department at my local Nissan dealer they said it does not come with harness. When I showed him on my phone the website, he got a little defensive and said it was not showing that it comes with harness and i would have to order separate. If it is included I could return the extra. other one can you post in here the installation step of the hitches? hoping for the response. thanks!

Most of the time, if you special order parts (parts not stocked on shelves) they won't accept returns, or if they do, they will charge you a restocking fee. I'd order the hitch first and see if it comes with the harness and then if it does not, I'd look into the harness.

Did you get a front hitch ordered and installed? Wondering how it went and what you had to do to install it.

I orderd a Reese hitch and installed it myself in 30 minutes. It came with bolts. I don't remember if it had the electrical harness or not. I use it to carry a dirt bike rack on the front. I love it.

Could you possibly take any pics? Do you remember which model you ordered and did you have any installation issues?

Thanks

Hi, I don't have any pics but the install was simple. No drilling. I removed the lower cowling. It look clean--doesn't protrude out the front at all.
