how do get my OEM dvd to work w/ aftermarket HU?

hey guys i installed a dvd in-dash unit but i need to get my rear screen and OEM dvd working. my wife has been driving me nuts cuz of the kids!!!

the dvd player in the console has power and takes a dvd in but i get no image on the monitor.

i read somewhere on a titan forum that if i connect the rear output from the in-dash to the line in on the dvd player it will work?

any suggestions? i could really use a wiring diagram for the audio/video if anyone has it handy...

i drive an 07 w/ bose system

I'd like to know this also, I have an 06 LE w/ Bose & DVD. I'd like to add an aftermarket radio w/ bluetooth & nav and be able to keep the DVD player functionality.
