Replacing Cat DIY

Postby ASUMTNEER » Tue Feb 21, 2012 4:12 pm

Anybody done this themselves? Getting ready to change out the drivers side cat Saturday and was hoping for some insight or tips. I have PB Blaster soaking on the bolts right now, and gonna hit them for the next couple of days.

UPDATE: Just did the cat change out on the drivers side. It took me about 3hrs to do it. Nothing too complicated, just no room for your hands. We'll see if it takes care of the SES light. I got the cat off of ebay and it fit perfectly. $160

What brand was the new cat? I just bought replacements for both sides from Rock Auto. Just waiting for warm weather to thrown them on.
