new to forum, not new to pathfinder

Hi. I actually bought this '06 Pathfinder SE off road when I was 17 and put all 93,000 miles on it. I've never had a major mechanical issue besides replacing a few U joints. It has some All Terrains on it that have been great in the snow; but I'm debating lifting it and turning it into a Moab machine and buying something more fuel efficient for every day use, or getting into a more fuel efficient SUV (like the 2013 Grand Cherokee Turbodiesel). I'd like to see what others have done to make their Pathfinders more off road capable. I know I'm probably one of the few Pathfinder owners that actually take it off road and its stock components have been surprisingly impressive. I'd hate to see it go but $4-5 a gallon really bothers me.

welcome. the only way to save on fuel is to go with a small car. trucks drink fuel no matter what.

Welcome to the forum. Look up NVSteve. He's an active forum member from SLC. He has an 07 SE-OR and was the Pathfinder of the Month for January 2012. He takes his ride off road and has lifted it. Very nice truck.
