Steering rack concern

Postby Livin_AZ_Style!! » Fri Mar 30, 2012 12:05 pm

I own a 1998 Pathy and it has been going great. Only changed out the radiator and calipers. However, the only concern right now i have is when i am steering, specifically when i've parked for awhile, i back out, turn, and hear this loud clung sound. I feel slight nudge on the steering wheel and sometimes in the brake pedal. I honestly don't have an idea where to start but if anyone can give me a hint or even a possible lead i'd greatly appreciate it!!

check your half shafts.... you must have one that the boot is teared or damaged. The steering racks on this truck rarely have problems.
