Recently I started to hear some rattling from the front of the vehicle and discovered a piece had rusted and broken. Can some one tell me what the name of this piece is?

Nissan refers to it as a "stay-front suspension member." It's part number is 54465-0W00 and Nissan MSRP is $13.62. If you need new bolts, there are four of them, P/N: 08157-0251F. There's usually an engine cover that goes over it. The cover attaches with 6x1.0MM bolts and is part code "74811" in the parts diagram below:
