I have an 03 PF and noticed lately that my transmission seems like it's groaning or straining at certain speed/RPM combinations (60 mph/2200 RPM for one) even while normal highway driving. The transmission shifts very smoothly, but it sounds rough and I can feel it.
Someone thinks it sounds like it's coming from the rear, so maybe rear differential?? I've had the tranny fluid flushed & filled, and that didn't help. Any other ideas on why?
