2001 clock

my clock does not work on my 2001 pathfinder.how do i take the clock out of the dash?

you have to remove to top of the center console to get at clock. You will need a small thin screwdriver to get to the two tabs holding the cover on. after that it is just a matter of disconnecting the clock and popping out. A good place to look for detailed instructions is on the forums regarding stereo removal, as that is the first piece to come off to get to stereo.

thanks for the reply .i have tryed prying around the plastic bezel .it did not come out .i dont want to break the bezel . :?

you probly dont have to take the clock out check what fuse powers the clock and check the fuse to see if its blown or not. id bet its just a blown fuse. I have an 03 pathfinder and the clock assembly along with the a/c vents that are next to it just prys out and pulls staright out as one piece then you just disconnect the clocks connector
