Hey folks

I got 2 issues to work though.

1. Can I tow a small 5x10 trailer with an ATV on it without any mods?

2nd. Today coming home from the ranch, I took the sun/moon roof off and enjoyed the 72 degrees on the way home. What I noticed is that my center console and 4x4 boot were really warm...like I could feel heat radiating from them. I have 174 thousand miles on the clock. new timing belt and recently did a coolant flush with all new fluids.

Should I be concerned with #2?

1) Assuming you have the appropriate hitch and trailer wiring, "yes."

2) "No."

#2 sounds like just radiant heat from your transmission

Thanks guys

I pull at 36 ft 5er with our F250 monthly but I was surfing another forum and read somewhere that we shouldn't tow unless we added an aftermarket tranny cooler or something like that, I may have dreamed it.

I have a Class III on there now but someone cut the trailer harness so I get to redo that little project.

i was pushing the old girl pretty hard from the ranch today. 70-75 mph for 3 hours solid.

So I shouldn't worry about it huh?

OK.

Thanks again for the info.
