thanks for the pics
it seems to me that there is a thread in The Nissan Path that deals with someones' removal of the third row in order to put in some storage arrangement instead
there may be pictures of the third row areas with the seats removed showing the mounts for the seats
a careful "search" of the forum might be worthwhile
if the mounts are there, maybe you could get the seats and related parts used from a wrecker
maybe that way you can avoid replacing your truck (and send me your storage box assy) :D

yea Im betting that under those boxes are the mounts for the 3rd row. It doesnt make sense to me that Nissan would make a 3 row and a 2 row and have them different. but Im not an engineer lol

Interesting. I did a quick search of used Pathfinders in UK and none came up with a 5-seat option....so I would think this could be a pretty easy swap. Seat belts might be the hard part...but surely the anchors are there. Good luck! You might even find someone willing to trade you a 3rd row setup for those storage boxes!

yeah, probably someone like me (no kids!) that removed the 3rd row. it's really not hard to remove. the tell will be looking at the rear pillar when you open the rear hatch/tail gate. if you look about eye level on the left or right, there should be a 'hole' in the plastic where a screw would go to hold the shoulder anchor point. someone could have popped some sort of 'plug' in there, but that's where the 3rd row shoulder seat belt anchors. i'll try to get a pic of mine tomorrow. if there's a hole there then yours definitely originally came with the 3rd row, but someone just removed it.

Hell, if he lived in the US I'd do a straight swap. Someone did a nice job on those bins. I'm guessing custom, but maybe some aftermarket company in the EU makes them?

it's not so much the fuel...it's the tax on the fuel. So far our govt is only TRYING to tax us to death.....you folks have been there for awhile! If they tried to put over $2/gallon in fuel tax...i'm sure heads would roll. We're a violent group when we want to be
