Best Way to Mount Front License Plate with a Bull Bar?

So I finally switched from MI to CO on my plates today. I am having trouble figuring out the best way to mount the front license plate to the bull bar (light holder). I removed the front license plate bracket when I installed the bull bar so that is not an option.

For now the best I could come up with was putting a slight bend to the plate to conform better to the skid plate on the bar and I used zip ties to attach the plate to the slots in the skid plate. I can load pics if necessary, but do not have any right now. My icon shows the bar and skid plate of what I am talking about.

Any other people have a better way to do this?
