In the USA Today - Today

Postby Oly 22 » Sat Jun 08, 2013 5:33 pm

Well, Actually Tuesday. Was down in Vegas, this past week and read a headline in the USA Today, Chrysler is fighting a recall on 2.7 million Jeeps because they can catch fire. Seems like 51 people have died, in fires, after being rear ended. Looks like it is not just Nissan that does not want to do the right thing and protect their customers.

Wow. Profits over anything is what automakers are thinking. Something like this could send them back for a government hand out. If you build crap it tends to come back and haunt you eventually.

I saw that in the news about a week ago & couldn't believe they are not going to do a recall. I guess they don't care about image or customers as much as Toyota & the rest.
