Question about unlocking and locking doors with key fob

Hey everyone!! I have an 05 pathfinder and when I push button to lock the car the horn doesn't beep and lights ont flash. Also when I unlock doors lights don't flash either. The alarm works because I set it off a couple times

if you press both black keys on your fob simultaneously for 3 seconds (while standing on your head facing north - just kidding :) ), you can toggle in and out of the horn/flash mode
