New clutch question

Postby winndixie21 » Fri Dec 20, 2013 10:45 pm

Thinking of putting a new clutch in as one of the things on my list of things that should be done @ 182K anyone got a good reccomendation of a clutch brand, psi plate, flywheel, throw out bearing kit to buy that works right and performs good the first time ?

I know there is plenty out there but I only want to do it one time.

Nissan used to offer (they probably still do) a value line clutch kit that was reasonably priced and came with everything you need. It was made by Valeo. Some have gone with Exedy, which is also a good brand. You can get both Valeo and Exedy kits at Rockauto.com for a good price. I think the Valeo kit is around $165-ish and the Exedy a little cheaper.
