2000 pathfinder pulls to the right

Postby sponger0 » Thu Feb 20, 2014 6:41 am

My tires have been wearing badly and my truck is pulling to the right. I had a shop look at it and they said my wheel bearings are bad on the right and left one also needs to be replaced.

I was going to replace them. Seems simple enough for me. But first I will say I felt no play on the tires when grabbing it and trying to move it back and forth.

Also when I got the hub off, I couldnt remove the 2 screw on the seal to get to the first bearing.

Some help would be appreciated. I was planning on having another shop take a look. Im really not sure where to go from here.

I will also add there is no loud whining noise when driving. The only noise I hear is on the right side when I turn the wheel.

Have the second shop crack the screw loose.

The noise you hear may very well be the bearing(s). It would make sense.
