Cigarette Burns

Postby Cr@2y Gr33k » Wed Jul 23, 2008 2:13 pm

Any one know if the carpets in the Pathfinder are sectioned off, or are they one big piece. Being that my dad likes to smoke, he decided to take the car for a ride one day and dropped some of the burning cigarette on the floor burning the carpet and sending me into a curse laden tirade. :evil: Or is there a way to do a spot repair?

After doing some vacuuming not too long ago, I think it's all one piece. What you could possibly do is cut out a section out from under the front seats and replace the burnt area.

if you dont want to cut into yours, you could probably get a piece from a wrecked PF and use that for a patch.

The truck carpets are three piece, the two front ones cut off under the front seats and the rest is a single piece from there to the rear jack hatch.

Local prices are;

Passenger side part no: 74902-EA40A $196
Driver side part no: 74903-EA40A $250
Rear area carpet part no: 74906-EA406 $271

Repairing the carpet with a small piece from another area of the truck is usually an invisible fix if done right.
