So I have been hearing a high pitched noise coming from the steering column. Its usually when sat idling, If I press down on the plastic on the back of the steering wheel it goes away but as soon as I let go it comes back. Any Ideas?

where is the whine coming from? it sounds like you may just have a piece of trim that is squeaking. If you can find out where its coming from, you can use soft-side velcro to insulate the parts from each other and keep them from squeaking
