All tires have manufacture dates on them (motorcycle, car, etc.)

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/ ... ?techid=11

I can't find a motorcycle specific site, but they follow the same code structure.

This is a very common issue when buying vintage vehicles. One of the first things I do when I buy a vintage motorcycle is change the tires.
