Clicking noise when in reverse and chirping from the rear.

Postby MakDizzle » Sat Sep 13, 2014 7:24 am

So my r51 pf is an 05 has about 120k miles on it. When I put it in reverse there's a loud click. Then when it backs up there's a chirping noise coming from the rear almost seems like the rear pads aren't letting go of the rotors.
And I also have this issue where I would here a clicking noise when I'm slowing down and it happens at random speeds so I can't pin point it.

Thanks guy any info would greatly be appreciated also I installed bilstein HD in the rears within the last 1k miles

That'd be my guess. Unless the parking brake is inside the rotor...in which case it could be a loose shoe. I forget if these are internal or work with the normal caliper

Parking brake is indeed drum style inside the rotor...
