Key Fob (2011 Pathfinder)

We have a 2011 Pathfinder SV with about 53,000 miles. Lately, all the remotes (we have three) only work a few feet from the vehicle and the buttons don't work with every push. I replaced all the batteries but that didn't help. I tried to use the reprogram procedure I saw on the internet but when I take the key out of the ignition it unlocks the car unlike in the videos I've watched. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my 2010 SE with the keyless start.

I need to be within 10 feet of the truck

Changed the batteries twice & not different at all

All three of my remotes died almost at the same time. I replaced batteries and they were just like new. There is a chance the batteries you got were old so aren't working well. Did you test them with a meter?
