Xterra/Pathfinder 4.0L Volant CAI on my V8 Pathfinder

Postby karmakaze » Tue Apr 28, 2015 1:33 pm

I am in the process of moving all of the aftermarket pieces that I can from my old Xterra to my new V8 Pathfinder so I can sell the Xterra. All of the bolt holes on the Volant line up in the V8 Pathfinder just like it would in the 4.0L versions. You do still need to relocate the horns, but that isn't a big deal.

Basically, you just cut the Volant intake tube off right before the crank case vent port. It does rub the HVAC host a little bit, but not hard enough for me to be worried about it.

Here are some pics:
(Nevermind my missing engine cover. For whatever reason, mine didn't have one when I bought it)

There you go. Thats the way to mod!
By the way they look so much better without the engine cover.
And why would you need it anyways, its like 5lbs.
I was the first one to install the Titan/Armada Volant 5.6 CAI with power core filter on our v8 pathy. Here is the thread to see my pics.
its the 3rd post from the bottom.
