vibration at 65 to 75 mph

Hi ive just purchased a Nissan pathfinder R51 09 plate, when driving at speeds of over 65mph there is a lot of vibration is this normal HELP PLEASE

No, it's not normal. Check the basics first...balance and inspect the tires. If that checks out, look at u-joints or driveshaft issues.

I have just remembered that I pulled out a long thick piece of sponge about
28 inches long 2 inches thick and 3inches wide it had several holes in it looked to me like it came from bottom of radiator at front any one have any ideas please

This sponge is usually the insulation they use to space the radiator off the frame of between the radiator and condenser or fans. It shouldn't propose any problems if it's removed just might cause alittle rubbing.

As for vibration, check u joints, tires and wheel bearings.

When my front U-joint went bad, it also warped the front drive shaft. The rumbling above 60 mph stayed since the shop didn't check the run out (straightness) while they had the shaft removed.

If the U-joint is pretty bad you can feel play in it when you move it...
