Anyways, could I just simply replace the ECM relay?
you could try it
i just did both of mine for a few bucks apiece because i don't trust anyone else to do it (even though it's a 10 minute job - really easy)
but car_bore, i didn't mean to imply that it would be a solution to your problem, i was just suggesting it as a possibility, especially if the recall repair had not been done yet
but apparently it has, so it's back to a guessing game
it's scary, then again, it's possible that it may never happen again
to start randomly replacing parts will get expensive really fast

Thanks eieio. Yes I know the risks but right now I have no other cheap option but to replace the relay and keep my fongers crossed that it wont happen again.
