P2138 & p2122 codes

Postby Pathfinder2009 » Fri Jun 30, 2017 10:27 am

Hello, my check engine light and VDC off light came on at the dash with no acceleration when pressing the pedal. I took it to Autozone and they pulled 2 codes p2138 and p2122. After some research it's showing to be the accelerator pedal sensor. Amazon has the accelerator replacement pedal for 36.04 free prime shipping.

Has anyone had this issue or changed this out and is it hard to do? Any DIY videos available. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure how well the autozone one is manufactured but sometimes its better to go with original from dealer if the price isn't crazy

Thank you for the replies. The one I ordered is from Standard Motor Products. I actually did a relearn to the sensor and haven't had the issue so far. But could happen again fingers crossed.
