Replacing Transmission...

Postby dcudney » Tue Mar 24, 2015 1:09 pm

I have an 05 LE 4x4 and the transmission went out. I am trying to buy a used one, but I cant seem to figure out if I have the off road package or not. Can anyone tell me what the off-road package is, and or if there are any differences in the two for replacement purposes?

Thanks!

I think I figured it out...I have an LE model, and it doesn't look like the off-road package was available for this model.

SE-Off Road was a specific trim. It's easy to tell because it'll have the Hill Decent Control and Hill Start Assist buttons on the lower, center dash. LE is easy to tell, as well, because it's the only trim with the "AUTO" mode transfer case, which would have "AUTO" listed on the transfer case control knob.
