I had the field coil fail on the compressor clutch on my 2006 Pathy, which is probably what's wrong with yours. You can get just the coil for around $45 on Ebay, but I decided to go with a Maxsam clutch assembly for around $115 shipped. Maxsam clutches are made in the US. You can replace the clutch...

No clutch actuation during the test, but key on engine running with ac on and I get 12 volts at the compressor hot wire ( granted I'm probing the connecter from the power side and candy and haven't checked on the compressor side yet. Just because that stupid plug is so darn hard to disconnect on the...

do the self test on the IPDM. follow the instructions here: https://www.titantalk.com/threads/ipdm-e-r-auto-active-test.38790/ If you hear the compressor engage during this test, then that means the wires are good, and the compressor should turn on, and the problem is going to either be low r134a, ...

Alright so I probed a tiny wire into the back of the compressor wiring detush connector and am reading 14 volts with the AC on max so it's got plenty of juice. The compressor clutch isn't engaging despite the fact it's getting juice............. Besides throwing in the towel and dumping serious mone...

Ac compressor question

Driving home the other day from work and about half way home in my 30 min commute, I notice my air conditioning is like half cold half warm air coming from the vent. Like two different sources almost. It eventually over the course of about 3 minutes stopped pumping cold air all together. I figured i...

How many miles are on your Pathy? Mine does what your describing. It's gotta be the chain or chains causing the noise. Ive listened a few mornings and have come to a conclusion that it's most likely the chain being loose at cold startup and becoming tighter once at temp. The ONLY time mine does this...

I have their very first light bars and work well as for the waterproofing. When i went through puddle on a raining day i could see little bit of water inside. I been wanting to get their newer version as they have come a long way in 5 years. That sounds like you got your money's worth over the year...

Adding fog lights to an S model

So as the title states I would like to add fog lights to my 08 S pathy. I have two options for doing so that I am aware of.. 1) I could run a set of led light pods in the stock bumper locations to a switch in the dash that I would put in a blank switch bank. 2)An even cleaner way to do this from wha...

Led install

Came upon a pretty solid light bar that doesn't hurt to much money wise. For me I was looking for a quality led bar that will go in the gap of he front bumper. I have a bull bar but prefer to have it mounted behind it to something more solid. Here's what sold me: http://tuffstuff4x4.com/products/tuf...

I use Dorman Direct-fit TPMS sensors. I have them in an 06 Pathfinder, 08 Pathfinder and an 07 Maxima without any issues. They run about $40 each and have a lifetime warranty, which works out great when dealing with Rockauto because it's an easy exchange. You just need to return the old one to get ...
