Got it running

Replaced radiator, oil pressure sensor, power steering sensor, valve covers and gaskets, pcv hoses, radio fuse, changed oil and filter. Purring like a kitten. Now just need to have refrigerant charged as I lost it in a spray of greenness. Thanks for all you help guys. It would have been more hell if...

Plenum

Hopefully this will be my last question for a little while. While reinstalling the plenum, I noticed a valve/nipple on the back of it. I don't remember a hose attaching to it. I changed the pcv hose going from the side to the valve cover, but cant figure out the one on the back. Does something attac...

Thanks SMJ. Just ordered it for 80.98 and free shipping. Do you know where the oil pressure sensor mounts? I don't want to mistake some other part for it again.

I think I have narrowed it down to power steering pressure switch. Can't believe I broke the electrical connector. I'll look online for a replacement. Auto parts stores want 130-150. I shudder to think what the dealer wants.

Think I screwed up while changing oil pressure sensor

Went to replace oil pressure sensor due to high reading on gauge. I broke this piece thinking it was the sensor I was changing. It started draining what looks like at or power steering fluid. The picture shows the spot next to the pulleys on the passenger side. Any thoughts? https://www.flickr.com/p...

radiator replacement

I'm replacing my radiator this weekend. I read on another post on the forums that the a/t lines should have a blind plug put on to avoid fluid leakage. Where can i find a blind plug? First time doing this. Thanks.

Oil guide part?

I've been told that this part is called an oil guide. Can anyone verify this? Also does anyone know a part number for the gasket that goes with this part?
Thanks.

I think it's more just ignorance of what things are called on my part. If I knew the proper names, I could probably find them.

I read about it. I'll be doing that in the near future. As far as the service manual, is it the same as the factory released one? If so, I've been having trouble finding where certain things are in it. I've looked for the Haynes manual, but there doesn't seem to be one for the 2005-2012 model. Weird.

Thanks for the help guys. New to working on Pathfinders. I've been driving an 04 Xterra for about 5 years and have been amazed at the relative ease of working on it. Is there any common problems that I should be aware of on the Pathfinder? You've all been most helpful and most appreciated.

Not driving it yet. Bought it knowing it needed repairs, still waiting for the title so I can register it. Bought it for my wife to get her out of 01 corolla clunker.

Awesome. I need to replace that valve cover gasket anyway, so I'll be able to see that when I pull the valve cover. Thanks.

Thanks for the response, smj. Ok, took a picture of the top part that the hose fits into. Still can't figure out where the other end connects(it's really hard to see in there)
