Rausch Creek

Anyone want to meet up at Rausch Creek for a weekend of trail riding? Check it out for those not familiar - link

Should be a damn cool meet site, much better than just standing around in a parking lot BSing

Kind of bringing this back from the dead - I'd love to do some off-roading. I have both a R51 Pathfinder (the wifes) and a R51 Armada (mine). The kids loved off-roading down in OBX and this sounds like a blast!! Plus we love camping.

Alarm horn issue

I'm having a weird issue with the alarm horn on my '05 R51. Normally when the lock button is pressed on the key fob the horn will beep once, however, the last week or so when I press the lock button the horn does not beep for some odd reason. Anyone else have this issue before? If so what was the fi...

Service Manual

Anyone have a good link for the service manual? The link in the sticky doesn't seem to be working. All I get are a few pages of intro but, none of the meat of the manual.

I installed the WD hitch but, have a question about the pieces that are attached the A-frame of the trailer that are used to hold the bars. These pieces are simply slid over the top of the frame and a bolt is tightened onto the sheet metal of the A-frame. The instructions don't say to drill a hole t...

Thanks for the info guys. I'm much less worried now that I see a bunch of you guys are towing much heavier loads than I am. The WD hitch should be here soon from Courtesy and I plan on doing a drain/fill of the trans and diffs sometime in the near future (once the race season starts up again). I'm a...

Thats good to hear. I guess the WD hitch, despite its weight, is a good idea than. What type of fluids are you running (ie. engine/trans/rear oil)?

Wow 4k+ trip - thats a lot of driving!!

Bringing this thread back from the dead :P I've recently picked up a 2002 Pace American Cargo Sport 7x16 enclosed trailer with an empty weight of 2320lbs. My R51 has a V6 in it and it pulled the empty trailer with no sweet, which I expected since it hauled my previous race car ('03 Evo) on a heavy (...

I've been running this setup for a while now with 2 long hauls to upstate New York for a National Solo Tour and than this past weekend to Devens, Massachusetts for a Solo Divisional Championship. By the way, installation was a snap, great write up I have to say I'm damn impressed with the V6 motor. ...

Speaking of weight distributing hitches, anyone running one of these - Nissan weight distributing hitch ? If so I'd love to hear some feedback as I'm considering picking one up to help with redistributing the load to help with some sagging my airbag equipped R51 while towing the Evo and all of our c...

I'm installing the Prodigy brake controller now but, have a quick question. The Nissan harness as 5 wires while the Prodigy harness has only 4. 3 of the 4 wires are obvious (power, ground, trailer lights) but, that leaves out 2 wires on the Nissan harness (brown/white - brk out and red/green - brk s...
