3 times now while driving - shortly after setting off i accelerated gently but nothing was happening and the 'slip' light was flashing - is this telling me the transmission is going to fail? after backing off and accelerating again the problem went away

i just bought my 2010 pathfinder- i am a brit [eu free] living in saudi.
i am disapointed with the headlights which are more yellow than white and really look below par compare with todays cars - is that normal for pathfinders? are there any zenon/projector light units for the pathfinder
