Thanks for the input! Managed to pry away the rear liftgate trim and connected the cable back in.
No bruised knuckles this time!

The glass won't unlock at all, like if the handle was disconnected from the release mechanism... Glass hatch won't open anymore...
Hi, I have a 2008 PF SE. Strangely, The glass hatch doesn't want to open anymore, there is no resistance when I depress the handle. The complete rear hatch opens easily. I have tried locking and unlocking the doors with no difference. Any ideas from other PF owners? How easy is it to remove the trim...
