Transmission all of a sudden won't shift properly

I had cruise set. Went up a slight hill and it down shifted. Once the road leveled out, it would not return to the proper gear. I tapped the brakes to cut the cruise off and coasted a few seconds. It still wouldn't shift back. I turned about a mile later and when you give it gas, it wouldn't shift. ...

Oil light comes on after cranking

beginning around 2000 miles after an oil change. It also is kinda flickery. There are no real leaks to speak of, and it doesn't smoke. It has around 165K miles in it. Is this fairly normal?

2003 Pathfinder AC kinda cooling

I've noticed in the past week or so, the AC isn't cooling like it should. So I just checked temps coming out the vent with a probe. (Outside temp while testing is 84 deg.). 67.0 degrees at 2500 RPM. 70.9 degrees at idle (800 RPM). I assume I need to charge it, but I am a little hesitant. Have many o...

Try this site below. Also, you'd be surprised at what you may find in the automotive trays in the general hardware section of places like Lowes and Home Depot. It might not be exact, but at least close enough to work. http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/category-s/771.htm Great website! Thank you. I s...

I bought some similar (but larger) a few months ago. They are the 2-piece clips. You put the clip in that has the hole in the middle, then you add the "peg" to make it tight.

This past Saturday, I removed half the interior to get to the headliner. I removed the headliner. I then removed the roof rack (suspecting it could be involved. ) There was no rust under the roof rack. The holes are designed not to let water in (raised walls around holes.) I reinstalled roof rack an...

2003 Pathfinder AC control light bulb replacement

My AC control lights have burned out except for Defrost and Recirculate. Any idea how I can replace these? Is that even possible?

So I removed the A-pillar trim piece on the driver's side to see if I could get a better idea of where the leak was coming in. What I had been seeing was water coming in at bottom of dash and dripping on driver's door speaker and floor. I got in and my son sprayed water. After a few seconds of him m...
