Seafoam is great. I run it in the oil before and oil change and suck it through the brake booster line.
As for the valve body....the actual solenoid itself is what I was referring to. The metal part that bolts to the motor. Clean it all up real good.

I'd also suggest removing the VVT bodies, cleaning them and shooting compressed air into the 5 holes where they mount up on top of the engine

Bank 2 is drivers side. You can clean the holes out where they go. They get gunned up pretty easy. Scrape out as much funk as you can. Put the sensor back in. Run a can of seafoam in your oil for a few days and then do an oil change

Sounds like possibly a mag issue. Try cleaning it with maf cleaner. You don’t possibly have a high flow oilable air filter on there do you?

Is it the front or rear sway bar? You can run without either one of them. Lots of guys do for more articulation when wheeling. Personally...I would want to leave the front one on. The rear you’re fine without. Just be advised you’ll get a bit more body roll so be careful making quick lane changes

If you do need to replace it...use an 1 maxima maf. Exact same part and will save you a grip of money

1) adjust the sensor closed throttle voltage to .51 +-1v or desired voltage(Key on Engine off) (Backbrope center pin for signal on harness using chassis for ground.) 2) start the engine with the TPS plugged in......let it warm up at high idle for a couple minutes 3) Turn off the engine.....wait 5 se...

That’s what the fsm says....but there was also something put out by Nissan that I saw awhile back that said the r50 tps should be at .5 volts and it worked out perfectly for me to adjust mine to that. Isles rock steady at 756 rpm

2001 O2 sensor wiring?

I know the 2 white wires on the rear o2 sensors are the heater wires. But which of the black and grey is positive and negative? As far as I can tell gray might be negative? Anyone know?

Hey fluerys....the site doesn’t seem to work. All I can see is a banner and if I click the buy button it tells me sorry this picture isn’t for sale. Do I have to sign up for the smugmug thing in order to see the products?
