Welcome!

I'm in VA, here.
The first thing I would do is check to see if the SMOD transmission cooler recall was done.
Then whether it was or wasn't, would be to install a separate transmission cooler.

Other than that....
77k....
Dang.

"If only my spare was mounted elsewhere"

Dude, I feel you.
There are no off the shelf rear swing-arm solutions for these. I get that is a function of demand, but I don't have welding skills, so I was hoping SOMEONE would make one.

If you find one, let me know.

PRG Delrin steering rack bushings for R51 specifically?

I looked for these, but they only have Titan or Frontier/Xterra.

Do the Fronty/X ones fit? Or, did you buy different ones?

I will keep this a consideration, but, follow me dream here.

Everyone chime in and tell me where this fails.... Xterra step bumper (the sides of the Xterra) Xterra swing-out tire carrier and bumper. Insane? Too much fab work? I took the spare out from under, as it is no longer the right size, and realized it made a huge difference in departure angle. So, as a...

Ack. Mis-typed.
Yes, I got 4. Thinking about dumping the spare to save weight.

Rear Moogs and Bilsteins

I did it. I love it. I, of course, had to replace control arms, but that was to be expected. I ended up with what may be a half- to one-inch 'lift', but I think that is because it hasn't settled and because the stock everything was shot, at least in the rear. I haven't taken a look at the fronts, bu...

Speedo is correct with 265/70/r17

I have upped the aspect ratio to 70 on a pair of Michelin's (2012 Silver Edition). They are probably the Defender LTX (I will check later; it is what my CostCo had). The TL;DR? My Speedo is now correct with every GPS speed measuring device I can throw at it. With the 265/65/r17, 70 MPH indicated was...

Conversion is done. I made mistakes.

The Good: I can now stop a tow truck. The Bad: I SOMEHOW got my Left and Right calipers reversed. I didn't know that was possible, but I did. I also could not bleed them to save my life. Lastly, I misunderstood what these were, and I had ordered pads for a Titan. The Story: After bleeding with a bud...

Radflo vs OME: Price justified?

A pair of front Radflow coilovers is about $850.
OME strut and spring at all four corners is about $950.

Where is the tradeoff? Longevity? Rebuildability? Is it just in the ride quality?

Anyone?

My set is on the way.

Totes stoked.

To the OP, you didn't ever drive it WITHOUT the SS lines, right? I am thinking I may hold off on that.

Roger that.
Moog replacement coils.
Bilstein 4600's.
Airlift 1000.

Or, are the Moogs in lieu of the Airlift 1000?

Yes, the rear is soft

Bilstein 5100s are the tried and true, from what I have seen? They will need to be replaced, regardless, as that is something most people neglect. The rest of the vehicle is practically a museum piece, but I get the feeling that a non-car guy/enthusiast was hit with a suggestion for a 60k service an...

Side to side wallowing like a convulsing whale.... Help?

I have a 2012 Silver with 71k. The tail end 'wags the dog', as it were. In doing research here, I have just come up with more questions. I would like to maintain stock height, but if a small bump is required in the response, that is fine. QUESTION: What does everyone here do to correct what seems to...

Did you do 200kg or 300kg for the rear springs?

Linus, did you get the 300kg or the 200kg for the rear?

My rear is regularly pretty empty, third row down. I am looking for a ride that doesn't want to bounce me to the moon when I drive over a pebble.

Did you replace the bushings in your sway bar links?

Thanks in advance.
