So Palmer, did they change the oil then? More importantly, I’m curious - how many euros do they charge in this said country for an oil and filter change? More importantly, 150kph does lead to unrestricted roads in a particular country in Europe. Were you able to drive on said roads and how was it...

Mine tracks fine given its shape unless there are heavy gusts.
I agree with smj that it could be worn suspension components. My previous R50 with worn shocks and struts was a PITA eVen with minor crosswinds.

I’ve used M1 full synthetic with great luck. That being said, I’ve been using Super Tech synthetic high mileage stuff and it’s been just fine. Just get a decent quality filter.

The other vehicle is a ‘09 E350. So far, I’ve had no complaints about the car. It’s got a few quirks but the only real problem is the intake manifold flaps that get brittle and fall off. It’s been almost 40k miles of headache free ownership. I might possibly have gotten lucky, but I really e...

Understand that the R52 platform is totally different from the Pathfinders that preceded it. If you love your R51, you'll be disappointed owning a R52 in it's current iteration. It's a crossover, not a SUV. I agree that the Terra is probably the best of both worlds and if Nissan has any smarts left...

A buddy of mine has the 2014 QX60 - sake interior and package with all the bells and whistles but different exterior color. I agree that the interior is really nice and plush. And the Infiniti version is actually a significantly nicer place than the R52 SL variant. This wasn’t necessarily the case...

WTB: 2008-12 R51 LE combination switch

Looking for a good condition, preferably used †combination switch assembly†clock spring. MUST have the socket for heated steering wheel. Nissan part#: 25560-9CH5A (according to Nissan Parts Deal) 9CH2A, 9CH3A/3D and 9CH4A/4D will not work. Based on some digging around, seems like Nissan sold 255...

I would stick to conventional 80w90 on the front. Sometimes the seals aren’t designed to handle the synthetic fluid.

For the rears, do use 75w90 synthetic.

I ended up doing the rear diff. Might be my implicit bias, but i feel like
the trucks rides smoother with the new atf and rear diff fluid, especially when taking off stop lights. Ended up using Mobil 1 75w90.
The old fluid that came out had an odd green tinge when held against light.

Thanks all! for the feedback, I put a good faith deposit down on a 2012 Red LE! with 45k mi. If it drives like it looks and looks like the pics in person its coming home with us! Pete Congratulations! The chain issue was long fixed in 2009 and the radiator issue was supposedly fixed by 2010 as well...

Thanks for the response smj. What are your thoughts on Supertech?
I saw your old posts where you recommended it. Is it still running good on your R51s?

Driveline fluid changes (x-mission, t-case & diffs)

Had a slightly warm bout of weather yesterday. So I decided to get the ATF drain and fill and t-case fluid changed. I need to get the rear and front diffs done as well. I had a few questions and I would really appreciate some clarity on them: 1. Amount of trans fluid - the was fluid was changed abou...

Not really, no. But my speedo is off by 4mph or so.
Acceleration feels the same with the OE size all seasons or the 16†winter tires

That’s good to know.
Ha! I’ve been following that thread of yours and I have no doubt I’m going to have similar struggles as you. I’m hoping a few days of PB Blaster soaking will help
