Not sure why the 2006 TPS is being referenced in this 2003 Pathfinder question. I need to know the same answer.

Can someone note a picture where the Nissan 2003 Pathfinder TPS is located?

Thank you so much!

Any error codes? What's the problem? I had the P1130 point to this part and the issue turned out to be something else.

Its underneath the gas pedal. I just solved a P1130 issue because the TPS was acting up on a live analyzer. We disconnected the part and sprayed the connections down first before replacing the part and the car now runs great. The original issue was sputtering when slightly punching the gas. Make sur...

Problem Solved. Connected a analyzer that tracked live stats during operations. What we noticed was TPS (throttle position sensor) was not moving as responsive as when gas was applied. It would never go above 50%. It should hit 90% when floored. Look like a new TPS part @ $90 - wrong. When we discon...

Wife reported the same on our 2002 pathfinder - auto trans. Very slight slip feeling. Rarely happens but it does.

Anyone know of this and what the fix is?

It dropped into the 30s here in Houston and the chirping is back. Wife says she can hear it year round but its very faint in the warmer climate. As soon as the engine heats up it goes away. I've had the issue for a few years now. It would be nice to have someone ready this thread that identified the...

I passed by the mechanic and hooked up the computer and came up with CODE P1130 : manufacturer control air fuel metering. I dont know if anyone knows about this.

I have the same issue with the P1130 error code. Alberto, what solved your issue?

Thanks

Purchase MAF cleaner and spray it down like new. Spray the inside clean as well as the sensor. Do this before replacing. If you have to replace, I believe you can purchase just the sensor and not the entire kit that runs the cost up. The sensor is half the price when I checked. Besides, it's easier ...

I'm having a similar issue. They make a MAF spray you can get at any auto parts store. I needed 2 cans to completely clean the inside and sensor. I cleaned it like new but my problem still exist. I took it in for a fuel cleaning and the check engine light went out and it seem to run fine for a few h...

Problem not resolved. I replaced all the spark plugs and no success. Only when you punch the gas is when the car hesitates. In idle, I can run up RPMs to 5,000 with no problems. It's only when I punch the gas the car will sputter.Car idles fines and drives ok if I baby the gas pedal. Any help would ...

Check the blower motor. Fans can make all sorts of noise. First clean the blades if they are dirty before replacing.

If I'm correct, please don't send me a packaged gift in the mail.

Loud chirping noise from engine when engine is cold

I'm getting a loud chirping noise from the belt area when I start the engine cold. It goes away after the engine is nice and warm or about 10 miles of driving. It doesn't happen in warm weather as the car starts without any noise. The belts are almost new. They seem to be a little loose so I tighthe...

Problem seems to be resolved. If anyone can give some insight on this it would be appreciated. I filled the tank up agin with Premium gas along with fuel injector cleaner. I drove the car 120 miles without stopping. At the end of this trip, I filled the gas up again (half a tank) with Premium. Note ...

P1130 Error code on 2003 Pathfinder

My 2003 pathfinder check engine light came on and now the car sputters or kicks back between 2,000 - 3,000 RPMs or when you accelerate heavily like to get on a freeway. The error code points to the following part - swirl control valve control solenoid valve and notes fuel/air mixture problem. I've r...
