This happened to me last week :( radiator leaked into tranny, need a new transmission and radiator. Truck has 106k miles, trade in value is just a tad over 9k, they want 7 to repair it... :( It happened to mine in July. I had 150K miles on my truck, and had done the bypass at about 130K. Re: Water in Tranny... How Long Do I Have?

So I had the radiator fail and soak the transmission. Surprise right?!?! Anyway, I had the radiator fixed (mostly because I could pay for that) and we flushed and filled the tranny with clean fluid. The car is back on the road and it runs pretty good-- nice strong starts and clean shifts with the e...

I replace all of my rotors and pads with EBC rotors and Green Stuff pads a few months ago. The stop better than OEM, but do produce a little more brake dust than stock. Well worth what I paid. I ordered them from Summit Racing, along with new Rancho shocks all the way around.

Will do. I assume that the bolts on the factory units are going to be rusted to hell and back (NJ vehicle), so I am going to buy new bolts along with the gaskets, and anti-seize them when I install them.

Thanks for the information! I looked at Magnaflow's website, and they also make a DF replacement. Only probem with them is that they want $1037 for EACH side!!! I will call up my local Advance Auto and order them. Thanks for saving me $800!

Aftermarket Catalytic Converters for the R51?

I am getting codes for both left and right bank cataytic converters on my 2006 Pathfinder. I have 147K miles on the clock, so I am quite sure they need to be replaced. I have found the factory ones online for $530/ea, but wanted to see if anyone knows of a cheaper aftermarket option, that is a bolt ...

I just ordered EBC Green Stuff 7000 pads for the front, 6000 pads for the rears, and new EBC rotors all the way around as well. The parts should be in tomorrow, and I will let you know once they are installed and I have flushed the brake fluid. I also ordered Rancho 9000XL shocks and struts, and wil...
