If it were me, I would return it. Fair warning, I bought a cheap one for mine figuring I'm not planning on running over trees but I like the look. The steel is so thin it wobbles every time you hit a bump. Trust me, anyone in the passenger seat will make a comment about it.

This happens to me all the time in my 01. If it's like mine just open the trunk and slam it closed harder. I'm not trying to be funny, that drives me nuts having to pull over a 1/2 mile down the road because I keep seeing it come on and off in my mirror, but it always works.

I just replaced my MAF on my 2001 because I had the same problem. Took a shot and bought one of the hundreds being sold on ebay new for $50. So far it works just fine.

Thank you Tele4Mongo. I did try the cleaner first. No change. I ended up Buying a brand new one off Ebay for $50. I figured I would give it a shot before I spent $300. Started right up and ran great. So far so good.
