Once the belt is off, the tensioner is easy as well, just have to have the space for a breaker bar (well, i did).

I've had the same, but opposite, problem as you. I haven't really found a solution to it yet. Judging by what some other sites (different vehicles) it could be a couple of things but most likely an actuator down in the blower housing. Really hoping someone has an answer as I would like to have the A...

Even if it was slipping, you'd certainly hear the ABS kicking in trying to sort it out. I know that if/when i start losing traction, the ABS kicks in making that annoying grinding sound trying to stop the slip.

I don't want to assume thing here, but you may have bigger problems somewhere.

Figured I'd throw my two cents in. Was having the drooping gate, got tired of getting hit on the head so I ended up ordering StrongArm 6110 from Amazon. I've had them about 3 days now, and couldn't be happier. The gate is a bit harder to open (re: more effort to lift) but after about half way it doe...

I would honestly contact Nissan NA about. I have an 05 as well, 110k and been outside in the weather all it's life with very little in the detailing department. It has hailstorm damage, but not a single problem with the paint. It sounds like a flaw in yours.

ok, so you do have a functional gauge, or at least should have one. It definitely sounds faulty. As far as I know, you wouldn't get a fault light unless it is functioning properly. It's worth the peace of mind having it working properly. Changed mine out when I got it and haven't had a problem or co...

try putting some electrical tape on your hood latch (D shaped bar on the under side) and see if that resolves it.
