I agree with you on the last year of a model. They were begging me to get it off their lot. I feel I got a better than average deal so it made it hard to pass up. It was the last 2012 model within 250 miles of me as far as I could tell when shopping. I will stop hijacking this thread at this point. ...

Went to dealer to test drive 2013 pathfinder the other day and ended up buying a new 2012 LE model instead. I just had a hard time switching to new design after having my 2005 since day 1. It was hard leaving her sitting in the lot, but really enjoyed the new feel again and got a pretty good deal. A...

Yeah, pretty happy with the tire. I am hoping I have them for 50,000. I just had to put four new tires on wife's 09 Maxima and they were just as much. I was shocked and am done spending money on tires for a while.

I am debating on trading in the 05 Pathfinder with 109,000 miles for an 2011 or 2012 so I can have a real Pathfinder further into future. I love our 05 and would assume it has plenty of life in it, but I wonder how many people are feeling the same as I am causing a demand in near future. Any thought...

I am running Michelin LTX M/S2 265 70R16 on It now for the past 6 months. I ran premium and 78 mph from MO to MN on 35, so pretty flat. I did recently do 105,000 mile changes (new spark plugs etc..) so maybe I will see an improvement this summer when i make the trek again. Thanks for the response.

Sooo. I am amazed to see the mpg you guys are getting. I have a 2005 SE and have never gotten better than 18-19 on long drives. I usually have cruise set on 78 all the way. I always wondered how accurate the mpg gauge was. Am I missing something here or are the newer models that much better on gas.

Replace plugs, oil, coolant and transmission flush (crossing my fingers on this) They looked at the fluid and then determined it was dark and overall no warning signs of problems. Did overall inspection including brakes etc..(105,000 mile checklist)

Well, just got the Pathfinder back and all went o.k. He called me halfway through to break the news to me that a bypass had been done from what they saw. He said they could undo it no problem. I then explained that I had it done because of their crappy engineering and not to touch it. He unde...

This is what we discussed:
Spark plugs for sure. Probably oil and coolant changes, transmission fluid flush, air filter. He also mentioned in cab filters and overall inspection of vehicle, brakes etc...

05 Pathfinder 105,000 mile service ?

I have an Appointment at local Nissan dealer for 105,000 mile service. They quoted me around 550.00 including oil change. I will probably get flamed on for this, but I have no mechanical ability at all and am curious if this is a good price. I had a local shop do bypass for me at around 85,000 miles...
