It takes a special tool that is suppose to be under the rear seat. This Pathfinder has the socket part but not the crank handle. Just my luck.

Yes that looks like the puller kit that I got on loan from AutoZone because my pullers are all too big. The shiny round piece is in these kits is aluminum. Yeah, there's a special tool to remove and install the clutch. Also, there are shims (actually small washers) used to set the clutch gap. Make sure you have the proper clutch gap after you reinstalled the clutch assy. So what is this "special tool"? I have a puller that uses the 3 threade...
