have you considered doing a compression check? I'm assuming when the 2000 was spent for repairs you also did the basic tune up business as well? Just a few ideas
I know the pathfinder that i've recently acquired has a tickin lifter or 2 as well as an exhaust leak. But my question is, how do I identify which lifter or lifters need replacing?

already had the in mind. The rear end is making quite a bit of noise when I turn, after being stopped. I'm thinking way over due to fluid change and hope it's not ruined. It has a LSD rear.
